In Record Mode, the value entered here is stored with the data. In Playback
Mode, the value entered here overrides the value stored with the data for display
purposes.
6.7 Multiple Pings (Record Mode Only)
You use the optional Multiple Pings command (Figure 6-8) to specify the
number of pings that you want in the water column at one time.

To make small changes in the number of pings, click on either of the horizontal
arrows. To make larger changes, drag the slidebar left or right. Right movement
increases the ping number; left movement decreases it. Isis uses the value you
set here as a default delay for all channels.
